Blue Buffalo Introduces Food for Pets with Kidney Disease
Ridgefield ROAR is presenting Paws for the Cause with Blue Buffalo, who recently announced a new pet food to help pets with kidney disease.
WILTON, CT — Blue Buffalo announced in a release on Monday that they have launched a new pet food for dogs and cats to help manage kidney disease. KS Kidney Support for Dogs and KM Kidney + Mobility Support for Cats was formulated by Veterinarians and PhD Animal Nutritionists .

Both formulas feature antioxidants to reduce oxidative stress, and L-carnitine to support healthy muscle maintenance and body condition. They are also clinically proven to produce a Calcium Oxalate Relative Supersaturation of <3, and clinically proven to produce an average urine pH of 6.5 to 7.5, according to Blue Buffalo.

Ridgefield's ROAR is working with Blue Buffalo to present "Paws for the Cause," a festival for dogs and their people. The event will be held on Sunday October 16, 2016 from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Ridgefield Recreation Center, Danbury Rd. Ridgefield.
The Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue (ROAR) is a 501(c)3 animal rescue organization that specializes in compassionate treatment and adoption of homeless pets. The ROAR Donofrio Family Animal Shelter is located at 45 South Street in Ridgefield, and offers dog and cat adoptions.
