Connecticut Has 34 Of America's Fastest-Growing Companies, And Some Are Hiring

While the state continues to deal with its fiscal challenges, Connecticut companies continue to grow. Some of the best, fastest-growing companies are popping up everywhere. Indeed, they may be right in your town or nearby.

Business magazine Inc. has come out with its annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in America. We have the list of the 34 Connecticut companies that made the top 500 (see below).

Inc. said it picked the fastest-growing private firms in America because they are "creators."(To receive free news alerts from your hometown in Connecticut click here.)

"They create companies, they create value, and they create jobs — 619,631 of them over the last three years," the report said. "You'll also discover the newest hot spots, the coolest products, and the people who make it all happen."

The top company from Connecticut was founded just five years ago and has experienced a three-year growth of 1,247 percent.
