Drunk Ridgefield Man Causes Power Outages, Police Say: Report
Police say a crash cut power to the surrounding neighborhood.
WILTON, CT — A man who police say was drunk crashed into a telephone pole causing several neighbors to lose power early Sunday morning, reports the News-Times.
Robert Richeson, 20, of Ridgefield swerved off the road and struck a utility pole on Ridgefield Road at around 5 a.m.
Police say he had a blood alcohol content of .18. The crash caused power outages for nearly two hours.
