Offensive Coordinator Named New Football Head Coach At Ridgefield High: Report
James Reed, the Tigers' offensive coordinator for over five years, has been named the team's new head football coach, according to a report.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — James Reed, the Tigers' offensive coordinator since 2018, has been named the team's new head football coach at Ridgefield High School, according to CT Insider. Reed will replace Kevin Callahan, who retired in April, as the team's new leader.
CT Insider reports Reed previously served as an assistant under Callahan from 2010-2014, then took up a head coach position at Pomperaug High School in Southbury for four years before returning to Ridgefield as an assistant in 2018. He also currently teaches journalism at the school.
