RIDGEFIELD, CT — The next Board of Education meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 22 and will be an Executive Session for the purpose of discussing collective bargaining documents pertaining to the custodian union and paraprofessional union. The Executive Session & Special Board Meeting will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 in the Board Conference Room, Town Annex 6:45 p.m. The location is 66 Prospect Street. Ridgefield.

Board of Education meetings are conducted under Robert’s Rules of Order with comment invited only during the period Comments from the Public and as allowed by the Chairman. Comments are limited to two minutes. Although the Board welcomes comment and criticism, it also expects citizens with specific questions to first seek answers from principals of the various schools and then from the superintendent.

Complaints, which have not been properly processed, shall be ruled out of order and the complainant shall be advised of the proper procedures. Anyone requiring special accommodations due to disability or with questions concerning these guidelines should contact the Secretary to the Superintendent at 894-5550 x22014 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
