No Tigers Found in Ridgefield: Police
Police investigated reports of a tiger on the Ridgefield and Wilton border this week.

WILTON, CT — Luckily for residents and unfortunately for wildlife enthusiasts, reports of a "full-sized" tiger roaming the Ridgefield-Wilton line were unfounded, according to multiple media reports. Wilton Police Lt. Robert Kluk told the Norwalk Hour there was "no trace of evidence" of a tiger along Rte. 33.
Investigators think it could be a bobcat or a very large dog that lives in Ridgefield. Capt. Jeff Kreitz of the Ridgefield Police Department said that Wilton police received the call, and Ridgefield officers did not find anything.
Police said they could not find tiger prints in the area.
