Ridgefield BOE to Decide on School Start Times: Report
The Board has sent a decision date regarding a change in school start times at the high school, as well as elementary schools.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — A hotly contested local debates figures to wrap up in October after a Ridgefield Board of Education decision Monday night, reports the Ridgefield Press. The Board has decided that it will decide on a potential start time change at the high school by the end of October 2017.
Following a year of discussion, public debate and focus groups, the board will send a survey to parents in the fall to gauge how the community feels about the change. The board is also planning to hire a second consultant to be the project manager of the movement.
If a change is approved, it would be implemented during the 2018-2019 school year.
