Ridgefield Church To Host Workshop On Reducing Political Polarization
Join St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Ridgefield on March 23 for a Braver Angels workshop on constructive political dialogue.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will host a Braver Angels workshop titled "Depolarizing Within" on Sunday, March 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the church’s North Hall at 353 Main St. The event aims to help participants engage in political discussions without demonizing those with opposing views.
Braver Angels is a nonpartisan grassroots movement focused on bridging the political divide and strengthening democracy. “We are pleased to partner with Braver Angels once again,” said Rev. Whitney Altopp, rector of St. Stephen’s, in a news release. “Together, we hope to amplify the truth that we can make a better way of being humans together.”
The workshop will encourage attendees to reflect on their attitudes toward those with differing political views and develop constructive strategies for dialogue. Goals include:

There is no cost to attend, though participants are encouraged to register in advance via Eventbrite. Walk-in registration will also be available at the door.
