Ridgefield High School Football Coach Announces His Retirement

Kevin Callahan​'s career 192-135-3 record ranks him No. 23 on Connecticut high school football's all-time wins list.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Ridgefield High School's football coach is retiring after 32 seasons, including the last 24 guiding the Tigers, according to CT Insider.

Kevin Callahan will also be retiring as a physical education teacher at the school at the end of the school year.

The Connecticut High School Coaches Association named Callahan Football Coach of the Year in 2019. He is scheduled to be inducted into the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic ConferenceHall of Honor later this year.

His career 192-135-3 record ranks him No. 23 on Connecticut high school football's all-time wins list. At Ridgefield, his record was 157-87-1.
