Ridgefield Independent Film Festival Announces Selections
RIFF will screen 73 films from 23 countries from May 20 - 22, culminating in an awards ceremony at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Twenty-four community screeners have completed the daunting task of selecting films for the first Ridgefield Independent Film Festival (RIFF), to be held May 20-22, 2016 at various venues in Ridgefield, CT.
Close to two hundred films from 34 countries were submitted to RIFF for consideration during the submission period, which was June 15, 2015 – January 1, 2016. Films were rated on a point system based on the film’s originality, creativity, direction, writing, cinematography, performances, production value, pacing, structure, and sound/music.
Seventy-three films from 23 countries were ultimately selected to be shown at the festival in May and will be screened at various locations around Ridgefield, including: Ridgefield Library, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Prospector Theater, Keeler Tavern Museum, and The Ridgefield Playhouse.
