Using slides, local historian and retired editor of the Ridgefield Press will describe a dozen Ridgefield women of the 19th and 20th centuries who made noteworthy contributions locally, nationally or internationally in politics, education, medicine, journalism, the arts, and other fields. Some are well-known for their accomplishments, some are not, and some have been almost completely forgotten or overlooked.
