Ridgefield Little League Field Crosses Final Hurdle: Report
The little league field located on the Redding line sparked three contentious public hearings.
RIDGEFIELD, CT — The controversial Sanford Station Road Little League field saga is now over. According to a report from the Ridgefield Press, Ridgefield Little League received final approval from town zoners and the inland wetlands commission.
Neighbors in Ridgefield and Redding opposed the field due to noise and traffic. Field and parking lot lights will have to be off by 10 p.m. and the sound amplification can be used no later than 8:59 p.m.
