Ridgefield Minor Busted Trying to Buy Alcohol With Fake ID in Westport

Iain Donnelly, 20, of 6 Elderberry Lane, Ridgefield, was charged Tuesday with second-degree forgery and criminal attempt to possess alcohol by a minor.

Donnelly turned himself in to on an arrest warrant that had been issued for him regarding the incident that occurred in June 2011, the police report indicated. Donnelly allegedly attempted to purchase alcohol with a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license at the , police said. 

Donnelly posted $500 bond and was later released. He is due in court May 11.
