Police: Teen Found at Park with Alcohol
Ridgefield police charge a minor with possession of alcohol in a public place.
An 18-year-old Ridgefield resident was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor in a public place at about 8 p.m. Saturday.
Ridgefield police said they responded to Bennetts Farm Park that night to investigate a report of a car in the parking lot. Officers reportedly found Brian Batterton, of Takora Trail, in possession of alcohol. He was released to the custody of his father, police said.
