Ridgefield Police: Text Message Breach of the Peace

A 16-year-old Ridgefield boy was charged with breach of the peace after sending a text message.

Ridgefield Police charged a 16-year-old with breach of the peace after investigating a text message on March 21 at 10:30 a.m. Police said they received a complaint about a message, investigated and that led to the 16-year-old boy. The boy was charged with breach of the peace and was turned over to juvenile authorities. He was released on a written promise to appear.

This information was provided by the Ridgefield Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
