Ridgefield Realtor Steals $400K From Home, Tries To Auction Items: Wilton Police
Breaking: Police say the woman tried to sell the stolen items at an auction house in Stamford.

WILTON, CT — An area real estate agent turned herself in to police Thursday for allegedly stealing items from a home she was overseeing and trying to sell the items at auction, according to Wilton police. Barbara Morris, 66, of Ridgefield took property from the residence and tried to sell the items at an auction house in Stamford, Wilton police allege.
Police say the total estimated retail value of the stolen property was $405,000. All of the items were recovered and return to the homeowner. Specifics about the items and further details were not immediately available, check back with Patch for updates.
Morris was charged with criminal attempt to commit larceny. She posted a $75,000 bond and is due in Norwalk Superior Court on June 26.
