Ridgefield Spring Stroll and Barbecue Festival: Schedule, Events and More
Here is what you need to know about a fun-filled weekend in town.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Two of the town's most talked-about events kick off for two days this weekend. The annual Spring Stroll will take over the town and is hosted by Downtown Ridgefield. Ridgefield will also"go country" this weekend for the Ridgefield Gone Country Barbecue Festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Ridgefield. .
Here is what you need to know.
Schedule
The Spring Stroll will run from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. It has been extended to Sunday due to weather. Weather has affected some of the events. Follow the Downtown Ridgefield Facebook Page for updates.

The Barbecue festival will take place on Saturday, May 6, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday May 7 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Lounsbury House will host the festivities.

The fourth annual edition of the Barbecue festival event will feature a CT State BBQ Championship, ridges, games music and fun. It is also New England's first barbecue event of the season.
