Ridgefield's Labor Day Weekend Weather Outlook

If you're planning that last trip to the beach or a barbecue with family and friends Labor Day weekend, we'll let you know what to expect.

RIDGEFIELD, CT — If you enjoy a week filled with plenty of sunshine, seasonal temps and only one minor chance of rain from today through Labor Day weekend, well here is a forecast for you. Yes, today it is warm with temps expected to be near 90 degrees but then temps however around the 80 degree mark and the upper 70s for most of the rest of the week.

Connecticut, which is still running several inches behind in rain at this time of the year, could see some showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night. But the rain chance is currently less than 50 percent. As of right now that is the only chance for rain in Connecticut’s upcoming forecast. Currently, the Weather Channel is predicting 80 degrees on Labor Day itself with partly sunny skies. There is a 20 percent chance for showers, and we’ll update this holiday forecast as we get closer to the weekend.

  • Monday: Mostly sunny and temps near 90 degrees.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, temps near 80 degrees.
  • Wednesday: Mostly sunny, mid 80s, slight chance of thunderstorm in the afternoon and evening hours.
  • Thursday: Sunny skies with temps near 80 degrees.
  • Friday: Mostly sunny with temps in the upper 70s.

Labor Day weekend:

  • Saturday: Sunshine, temps near 80 degrees.
  • Sunday: Sunshine, temps near 80 degrees.
  • Labor Day: Partly sunny and temps near 80 degrees, this forecast via the Weather Channel.
