Rte. 7 to Close This Weekend in Ridgefield: Police

RIDGEFIELD, CT — Rte. 7 will be closed to through traffic from the Rte. 35 and Rte. 102 intersections this weekend, according to police. Starting at 8 p.m. Friday evening, the road will be closed due to the bridge replacement just north of Rte. 102.

This is the second of five closures set for the strip of road. Here's a look at the detours.

• Northbound Rt. 7 through traffic will be detoured up Rte. 102 to Rte. 35 to Rte. 7 at its intersection with Rte. 35
• Southbound Rt. 7 through traffic will be detoured up Rte. 35 to Rt. 102 to Rte. 7

Those wishing to access businesses in the area will be allowed to access those businesses except for where the bridge replacement is taking place.
