Town of Ridgefield Announces Board of Selectmen Meeting
The meeting is scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m.

The town of Ridgefield has announced a Board of Selectmen meeting for Wednesday, May 25 in the Ridgefield Town Hall conference room, located at 400 Main St., at 6:30 p.m.
The Board of Selectmen’s meetings will be conducted under Roberts Rules of Order, with comment invited only on agenda items that are action items not subject to formal public hearing. Individuals will be recognized for three minutes after the Board of Selectmen discussion, but before the Board of Selectmen vote. All items on agenda are presented as possible action items (vote) by the Board of Selectmen.

The agenda include public comment and discussion on the winners of the 2016 HRRA poster contest award and interviews with Youth Commission members Isabelle and Alttara Scheer. There will then be discussion with the Graveyard Committee's Tom McManus, Ridgefield Art Council's Mark Meacham and the Golf Committee's Deborah Murphy. There will also be an appointment of Conte Guzman to the Tree Committee.
The Board of Selectmen will discuss the Residential Solar Program, followed by presentation from the Schlumberger Citizens Committee. Additional discussion points include Loosen Up Massage Therapy lease and sublease renewal request, 729 North Salem Rd. rent increase, HRRA E-Waste Agreement approval, Winters Bros. MSW and Recycling contract, the Route 7 (former Walpole property) lease extension resolution, Old Quarry Rd. (former Schlumberger property), the Selectman’s Report and the approval of meeting minutes.
