1 Injured In Rollover Crash In Shelton: Fire Department

SHELTON, CT — The driver of an SUV was injured Friday in a rollover crash in the 600 block of River Road in Shelton, according to fire officials.

The extent of the driver's injuries were not known, but officials said they were "obvious."

Details of the crash were not available, but officials said the vehicle suffer extensive damage "after striking a telephone pole and rolling over." It came to rest on its wheels, and was leaking fluid.

The crash is under investigation by police.
