11-Year-Old Arrested Following Online Threat Made Against Shelton School: Police
Police confirmed an 11-year-old child was recently arrested following a threat made against a Shelton school on social media.

SHELTON, CT — An 11-year-old child was arrested late last week following a threat made against a Shelton school on social media, according to police.
In an email to Patch, Police Det. Richard Bango said the child was arrested Friday.
He also confirmed the threat was made on the instant messaging app Snapchat and directed at Perry Hill School.

According to the Connecticut Post, district officials said in a message to families the threat happened shortly after dismissal Friday.
Bango also confirmed to CT Post the unnamed juvenile is a student in the local school system who was charged with first-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace.
