Officers Announced For Shelton Fire Department's 4 Companies

SHELTON, CT — The Shelton Fire Department recently announced its four companies' newly elected officers for 2026.

According to the department's Facebook page, each of the Shelton Fire Department's four companies elect their officers to lead their respective companies throughout the upcoming year each December.

The following officers for 2026 were announced by the department on Facebook:

Huntington Fire Co.3

• Commissioner Matt Brennan
• Assistant Chief Ryan Mattioli
• Captain Ryan Hathaway
• 1st Lieutenant Austin Hathaway
• 2nd Lieutenant Hunter Johnson

Pine Rock Park Co. 4

• Commissioner Mark Bessecheck

Chief of Department Francis Jones III remains the department's leader after a recent reappointment.

Deputy Chief Paul Wilson also remains as the department's second-in-command after being reappointed a few months ago, according to the department.
