
Two Shelton residents are accused of drug possession after their vehicle was reported as suspicious.
Amanda Marilyn Alarcon, 27, and Brian Ellsworth Whitlock, 29, both of Whittier Lane, Shelton, are each charged with illegal possession and use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said the two were in a stopped car at Maple Lane and Huntington Street that was reported as suspicious.
Officers found five folds with heroin residue and residue of cocaine.
Their bonds were set at $5,000 each for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
