2 Injured In 1-Vehicle Rollover Crash In Shelton: Fire Department
The crash occurred just after 8 p.m. Sunday on Bridgeport Avenue, according to fire officials.
SHELTON, CT — Two people were injured and had to be extricated from their vehicle when the vehicle flipped over onto its roof in a crash in Shelton Sunday on Bridgeport Avenue, according to fire officials.
"Upon arrival of the first fire unit, a passenger vehicle was found upside down on the shoulder of the road," fire officials wrote in a post on Facebook (see below). "Units were told the vehicle had been in the parking lot above the location and crashed through the barrier approximately 12 feet above, landing on its roof. The two occupants were still inside the vehicle and in need of assistance getting out."
The crash, which remains under investigation by police, occurred just after 8 p.m., and the extent of the injuries was not known.
