
Two men are accused of punching mailboxes and assaulting a man on Beardsley Road on Nov. 2.
They were both arrested by warrant recently, police said.
Michael Andrew Mando, 22, of Falmouth Drive, is charged with nine counts of third-degree criminal mischief and single counts conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, second-degree assault and second-degree breach of the peace.
Brandon Lasky, 22, of New Street, is charged with nine counts of third-degree criminal mischief and single counts of conspiracy to commit third-degree assault, third-degree assault and second-degree breach of the peace.
Police said a resident reported witnessing the two smashing mailboxes before they hit him in the face with an empty wine bottle and started punching him. He was driven to the hospital for his injuries, police said.
Their bonds were set at $10,000 each for appearances in Derby Superior Court.
