Girl Scouts of Connecticut hosts Girl Scout Day at Beardsley Zoo

BRIDGEPORT, CT—Girl Scouts will be able to journey throughout the zoo, learn about the animals, and participate in other fun activities at Girl Scouts of Connecticut’s Girl Scout Day at Beardsley Zoo.

Girl Scouts will learn how the zoo helps save endangered species, participate in a scavenger hunt, and learn more about the connections between animals, water, and plants. The day’s activities are featured around the “It’s Your Planet – Love It” journey, which is part of a specialized group of programs that make up the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. This experience helps a Girl Scout discover herself and her values, connect with others, and take action to make the world a better place.
