Beardsley Cider Mill Opening Saturday for Apple Picking

It's also raising money for cancer research.

Fall may be nine days away, but you can start your apple picking early at Beardsley Cider Mill and Orchard.

"This week we will be picking a limited supply of Honeycrisp, Gala and McIntosh on the 14th & 15th - weather permitting. Come and pick em!!," the Route 110 business posted on Facebook Thursday.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, and the store is at 278 Leavenworth Road.

Also on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., come out and enjoy lemonade and buy some to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a registered 501(c)3 charity that raises money to help find a cure for childhood cancer.

All of the lemonade donations and a portion of the cider mill profits will benefit the ALSF.
