Bicyclist Dies After Possibly Being Hit By Vehicle In Winchester: PD
When officers arrived, the man was unresponsive, police say.
WINCHESTER, CT — A Winchester bicyclist died in a possible crash Saturday afternoon, police said.
According to the Winchester Police Department, a call came in at 2:24 p.m. regarding an incident on North Main Street, where a bicyclist may have been involved in a motor vehicle crash.
When officers arrived they located the adult male operator of the bicycle, who was unresponsive; they began life-saving medical care, police said.

No other vehicles at the scene were involved and no drivers had witnessed what occurred, police said.
The injured man was transported to the Hartford HealthCare HealthCenter in Winsted and did not survive his injuries, police said.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed what occurred, or who may have video that captured the incident, to please contact the Winchester Police Department, 860-379-2721, and speak with Officer Adam Burwin or Sergeant Pete DeLouis.
The man has not yet been identified, pending notification of next of kin, police said. No additional information is immediately available; the investigation remains open, police said.
