Buffalo Wild Wings To Open New Shelton Restaurant This Month

SHELTON, CT — Fans of Buffalo Wild Wings in Shelton will not have to wait much longer to enjoy chicken wings in a wide variety of sauces while they cheer on their favorite sports team, as the popular chain has confirmed its newest location will open in town later this month.

A BWW spokesperson confirmed this week the new restaurant, located at 387 Bridgeport Avenue, will officially open to the public Dec. 16.

The opening event will be marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Munson Restaurant Group from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which guests are invited to enjoy free merchandise giveaways and samples.

Additionally, the new restaurant will reward its first 100 guests in line with free wings for a year starting at 11 a.m.

With 58 wall-to-wall TVs and 24 beers on draft, guests can enjoy the brand's iconic traditional and boneless chicken wings and 26 signature sauces and seasonings, including Lemon Pepper, Mango Habanero and Honey BBQ, as well as hand-breaded chicken tenders, sandwiches, burgers, sides and appetizers, according to additional press materials provided by BWW.

"Buffalo Wild Wings is all about bringing friends and family together to cheer on their favorite teams while enjoying craveable food and refreshing beers," Shelton BWW Franchisee Jack Litman said in a statement. "With a large menu of delicious food and beverages and wall-to-wall TVs, B-Dubs provides the ultimate gameday experience that rivals being live in the stadium."

According to the company, the new 7,115 square-foot sports bar will bring 100 full-time and part-time jobs to the Shelton community and feature local favorites on tap such as Counterweight and Headway.

The new Shelton location also includes all-new fixtures and flooring, open seating areas and stadium-like A/V technologies with wall-to-wall LED modular screens, according to the company.

The sports bar will offer a happy hour menu with food and beverage specials every Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., as well as "BOGO 50 percent off" traditional wings on Tuesdays and "BOGO" boneless wings on Thursdays.

A late night menu offering select food and drinks for $4 each will also be available every day from 9 p.m. to close, according to the company.

The Shelton sports bar will be open Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight.

With a large number of restaurants all around the country, the Shelton sports bar will mark BWW's 11th location in Connecticut.

The popular chain also operates locations in Danbury, Milford, Manchester, North Haven, Stamford, Southington, Waterbury, Waterford, Wethersfield and Windsor.
