Derby Announces December 2024 Holiday Schedule

DERBY, CT — The city has announced the 2024 holiday hours for Derby City Hall and other city facilities, as well as trash pickup information.

The following holiday schedule and information was provided by the city of Derby:

Derby City Hall hours

• Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 - 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024 - closed.
• Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 - closed.
• Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024 - 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 27, 2024 - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Monday, Dec. 30, 2024 - 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024 - closed.
• Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 - closed.
• Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025 - 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, Jan. 3, 2025 - 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

City officials also noted there will be a one-day delay in trash and recycling pickup both holiday weeks.

The Transfer Station will be closed on Christmas Day (Dec. 25) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1).
