Derby Business Sells $25,000 Winning Lottery Ticket

DERBY, CT — A Derby business sold a $25,000 winning lottery ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On Aug. 6, Carissa S. of Seymour won $25,000 on the winning ticket, which was sold by the Exxon Mart in Derby, according to Lottery officials.
The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
