DERBY, CT — City Hall and other city facilities, including the library and senior center, will be closed all day Thursday due to inclement weather, according to city officials.

In an email late Thursday morning, a city spokesperson said Mayor Joseph DiMartino has announced City Hall, Derby Public Library, the Derby Senior Center and the Derby Housing Authority will all be closed for the entire day on Feb. 6, 2025, following an overnight snowstorm.

Light snow, mixed precipitation and plain rain fell across the state overnight into Thursday. Many school districts around the state announced Wednesday night classes would be canceled Thursday.
