Dogtopia Daycare Facility Proposed For Shelton: Report

SHELTON, CT — Dogtopia, a national chain of dog daycare facilities, has been proposed to move into the soon-to-be-vacated Panera Bread location at 850 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton, reported the Shelton Herald.

The Panera is planning to move to another site in the city after its lease expires at the end of the year, which will free up the building for Dogtopia.

Before the dog daycare venue can move it, the Planning and Zoning Commission will have to approve a modification to the city's Planned Development District regulations, which currently does not mention such uses.
