After 10 years of traveling to Belgium, Kate Marks, Owner/Jeweler/Certified Gemologist of Marks of Design in Shelton, received the distinction of World Wide Diamond Importer from RJO Inc.
She has worked 27 years in the jewelry industry, 14 years in her downtown location. She is also a local diamond importer and a member of the Retail Jeweler’s Organization (RJO), an exclusive international jewelry buying group.
Marks routinely travels to Antwerp to buy an extensive variety of diamonds directly from master diamond cutters for her customers.
