Driving School Pulls into CT Sports Center

A driving school has joined the Sports Center on River Road.

"We're very happy about the relationship. We think it's a great fit," said Kevin Schumacher, director of Corporate Sales for Sports Center.

All-Star Driver was approved in March by the Planning and Zoning Commission to open in the facility on the River Road.

A company spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.

But according to its Website, the company offers numerous education packages from 8 to 40 hours of time behind the wheel, from $525 and up. It also teaches manual shift training and offers a driving test outside of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Students can come from Shelton, Stratford, Milford, Bridgeport, Derby, Monroe and Trumbull.

The classes have a maximum of 24 students and one instructor.
