Dump Truck Overturns, Spreads Debris Over Route 8 In Shelton
A northbound lane near exit 13 was temporarily closed following the 7:45 a.m. crash Friday.
SHELTON, CT — A dump trucked overturned on Route 8 in Shelton Friday morning, spreading debris all over the roadway, which led to the temporary closure of a lane, according to authorities.
The crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. northbound near Exit 13, and the truck's driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Firefighters had to cut their way in to extricate the driver from the truck.

The crash is under investigation by state police.
