Edward J. Paulson, 74, of Milford, passed away on May 27, 2025. Edward, often called “Ed”, was born on October 16, 1950, in Derby, CT, to the late Clifford and Gertrude Paulson.

Ed dedicated over 20 years of his professional life as an insurance broker, where he specialized in insurance sales and took great pride in helping others protect what mattered most to them. Outside of work, Ed found peace and joy in fishing, often spending quiet hours by the water. He was a man of deep faith, guided by a strong belief in God that shaped the way he lived and treated others. Above all, Ed cherished his role as a devoted husband and loving father. His greatest happiness came from the time spent with his family, whose lives were deeply enriched by his steady love, gentle wisdom, and unwavering support.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife Diane Paulson and daughter Maryann Paulson. As well as many additional family and close friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Service celebrated on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Milford Christian Church, 989 New Haven Ave., Milford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Glaucoma Research.
