Garbage Truck Hits Sanitation Worker
The following information comes from a press release by Lt. Robert Kozlowsky of the Shelton Police Dept.

At approximately 8 a.m., Shelton Police and EMS responded to the intersection of Mulberry Lane and Bayberry Lane for a report of a sanitation worker that was run over by a garbage truck.
An investigation revealed that 52-year-old David Douglas of West Haven was driving a garbage truck for Trash Master LLC. Douglas was backing up the garbage truck when the rear tire struck another employee’s leg causing him to fall to the ground. The other employee, 31-year-old John Glacia of New Haven, was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was conscious and alert while on scene with police and EMS.
No enforcement action has been taken by police regarding this incident.
