Hamden police are searching for a missing 14-year-old girl in the area of Lake Wintergreen.
Hamden Police Capt. Ronald Smith said Emma Tobin left her residence on Circular Avenue at about midnight on Sunday.
She has relatives in Shelton.
Emma is described as a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is possibly wearing an orange and black-colored shirt, blue jeans and black high-top sneakers, the Register stated.
Members of the Community Emergency Response Team are assisting police and fire personnel in the search.
