Dianna Drake Honored in Washington DC as a 2024 Star of Life Recipient

Washington, DC—This November, the American Ambulance Association (AAA) recognizes extraordinary EMS professionals during the annual Stars of Life celebration in Washington, DC November 11–13. 143 individuals from across the United States will be honored as the 2024 Stars at this year’s event.

Stars of Life pays tribute to the dedication of these hometown heroes while shining light on the critical role EMS plays in our healthcare infrastructure. During their time in our nation’s capital, the Stars will receive medallions and plaques in thanks for their lifesaving and life-sustaining service. Additionally, the Stars, accompanied by their families and executive hosts, will meet with members of Congress and congressional aides to discuss policy issues critical to emergency medical services.

Dianna Drake has been an EMT with Hunter’s Ambulance Service, now part of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, since earning her certification in 2021. She became a Field Training Officer in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Paramedic certification.

Dianna’s exceptional dedication and excellence in her role have earned her recognition as one of the most highly rated FTOs, consistently exceeding expectations in clinical quality and serving as a model of professionalism and competence. Her commitment to advancing her career through paramedic school highlights her passion for patient care and personal growth.
