Heat Impacts Shelton School Day Schedule On Wednesday/Thursday

School officials shared the news Tuesday night as temperatures are expected to exceed 90 degrees.

THE SHELTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE EARLY DISMISSING ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH AND THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH, 2023 (NO AFTERNOON PRE-K)

Due to the recent reports on the heat index over the next two days, the Shelton Public Schools will be early dismissing on Wednesday, September 6th and Thursday, September 7th, 2023.
There will be no afternoon Pre-K.
