Police said illegal marijuana products were seized during recent compliance checks at two Shelton convenience stores.

SHELTON, CT — Illegal marijuana products were seized during compliance checks at two Shelton convenience stores earlier this month, according to the Shelton Police Department.
In a news release Tuesday, Police Sgt. Colin Bitsco said Shelton officers conducted coordinated compliance inspections at two stores on Bridgeport Avenue on Dec. 1 along with several state, federal and local agencies.
According to Bitsco, clerks at both locations were found compliant and did not sell vape products to a minor.
