Klarides, Klarides-Ditria Join 'Realtors Rally' at State Capitol

House Leader Themis Klarides and Rep. Nicole Klarides-Ditria attended the 'Realtors Rally' hosted by the CT Association of REALTORS.

From the Office of State Rep. Nicole Klarides-Ditria: House Republican Leader Themis Klarides and State Representative Nicole Klarides-Ditria gathered with hundreds of realtors from across the state at Bushnell Park in Hartford on Tuesday, May 9 for the “Realtors Rally” hosted by the Connecticut Association of REALTORS.

Klarides spoke to the group of 2,000 realtors, receiving a round of applause for saying, “We need to create a Connecticut you can sell. Realtors, business owners, and residents need a state government that is predictable and sustainable and we will only get there by working together and making real long-term structural changes. Republicans are showing we are able to craft a budget without tax increases, and that we are ready to lead.”

Rep. Klarides-Ditria added, “I hear from constituents daily that Connecticut is no longer affordable and that they are moving to states where the cost of living is significantly less. We need to send a signal this session to residents, businesses, and realtors that the days of runaway spending and tax increase are over."
