Police tracked down a Seymour man for allegedly shoplifting after spotting his license plate.
Robert Dale Crowther, 27, of Hill Street, Seymour, is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Police said he took a basket of Red Bull from Stop & Shop on Aug. 8.
His bond was set at $1,000 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
