Liquid Lunch Seeks to Open New Downtown Shelton Restaurant
The new restaurant will be called "Grow".

Liquid Lunch, a restaurant specializing in soups and sandwiches is planning on making a comeback in Shelton.
A fire at a Howe Avenue building in January 2014 destroyed the Shelton location, which was the very first Liquid Lunch.
The owners are now building a new restaurant that will be called, “Grow”.

The owners are asking for help to rebuild the restaurant and have set up a GoFundMe page to do so.
“From the ashes of what was left in the aftermath of the fire, a new restaurant will be born with your help. By donating to this GoFundMe campaign, you will help a new community based restaurant to open. We have decided to name it Grow,” the campaign page says. “ We chose the name because it embodies so many of the concepts we hope to represent: Community, Creativity, Agriculture, Family, and Love. Come join us on this adventure of evolution - a true phoenix rising out of the ashes, ready to become a guiding force in our community. GROW with us and help us realize the beautiful vision we have for all of our extended Liquid Lunch family.”
