A longtime Derby police lieutenant recently retired after decades of serving the local community.

DERBY, CT — A Derby police lieutenant recently retired after serving the local community for over three decades, according to the department.

In a Facebook post, police congratulated Police Lt. Salvatore Frosceno on his retirement and wished him luck in his future endeavors.

According to police, Frosceno joined the Derby Police Department in February 1989 and proudly served the community for 36 years.
