Louis N. Rizzio, age 61, of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday, October 24, 2013 in CT Hospice.
He is the devoted husband of 34 years to Laura Homick Rizzio. Louis was born in Derby, Sept. 30, 1952, son of the late Luddy Rizzio and Josephine Karlok and was a Derby resident for most of his life. He was a retired welder for multiple businesses including American Brass, Farrell, and Sikorsky Aircraft. Louis was also a member of the A.M. Club in Derby. He loved to cook and was an automobile enthusiast. Louis also loved to travel with his wife.
In addition to his beloved wife of 34 years, he leaves behind a very special nephew, Stephen Homick, Jr., a sister-in-law, Joan Meehan and her husband Dan, his mother-in-law, Mary Homick, and a brother-in-law, Michael Homick residing in Texas…and little Joe… his sister, Penny Karlok and his close cousin, Nicholas Rizzio of Terryville.
Friends are asked to make memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association at donations.diabetes.org Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton has been entrusted with Louis’ arrangements which are private.
