Man Accused of Endangering Minor in Shelton

Recent arrests by Shelton Police.

A Shelton man accused of violating a protective order is also charged with risk of injury to a minor and refusing to be fingerprinted.

Carl L. Lawson, 33, of Long Hill Avenue, was arrested May 2 during an appointment with his probation officer for the alleged violation, during which a minor was present, police said.

In a separate incident, Dylan Charvat, 22, of Greystone Drive, Shelton, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call.

Police said Charvat ripped the phone out of the wall during a May 6 argument.

His bond was set at $2,500 for an appearance in Derby Superior Court.
