Massachusetts Woman Charged In Ansonia Street Takeover: PD

The arrest is the second in connection with the April incident, according to police.

ANSONIA, CT — A Massachusetts woman is accused of taking part in a large-scale local street takeover in April.

Police on June 12 charged Madison Braska, 22, on a warrant with first-degree riot, conspiracy to commit first-degree riot, risk of injury, and interfering with an officer.

Braska was arraigned Friday in Superior Court in Derby, and her case was continued to July 21.

Braska is the second person to be arrested in the investigation into the April 26 street takeover. Earlier this month, police arrested a 17-year-old male.

Dozens of young people participated in the street takeover, and a police cruiser was damaged, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing, with detectives continuing to work to identify those involved, police said. Additional arrests are expected.
